We are taking a bold step forward in the field of renewable energy by producing CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and CBG (Compressed Bio-Gas) from natural, green sources like grass and agricultural waste.

KNGS Govardhan Urja CNG Pvt. Ltd. has successfully commissioned India's first Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) plant utilizing Napier Grass, with a processing capacity of 10 TPD, located at Awasari (Bk), Taluka Ambegaon, District Pune.

To meet the annual feedstock requirement of 87,500 tonnes of Napier Grass for the plant, an estimated 1,000 to 1,500 acres of cultivable land is needed. On average, each acre yields approximately 150 to 175 tonnes of Napier Grass annually, ensuring consistent and sustainable biomass supply for efficient plant operations.
